PLA(Polylactic acid)
PLA(Polylactic acid) staple fiber is a fiber product with certain
mechanical properties such as strength and elasticity. At present, it has a variety of
processing methods which can be processed in cotton spinning system,
wool spinning system and various new spinning equipment. The product types include pure spinning
products and blended products with cotton, fibrillia, wool, lessel, modal, bamboo fibers and other fibers.
As PLA fiber has good heat resistance,
it can be used to make long silk, staple fiber, monofilament,
nonwovens and other products like ordinary PET fiber.
The equipment can produce woven fabrics, bags, non-woven fabrics, etc. without major changes.
Compared with traditional fiber materials,
PLA fiber has excellent characteristics such as light weight,
good resilicence, flame resistance, UV resistance and luster.
At the same time, it has excellent wrinkle resistance.
Moreover, PLA fiber has good water diffusivity and can be blended with
cotton to make sweat absorbing and fast drying composite materials.
The fabric make of PLA fiber has good drapability, moisture permeability,
luster and silkiness, and has good anti ultraviolet function. It has significant
advantages in the production of underwear, sports leisure clothing and bedding.
